I'd watched it happen to friends. World-class athletes whose bodies were the envy of everyone around them - until they couldn't take what their ambition asked of them. I didn't want to be one of them.
So I made a decision that, at the time, felt insane.
I was going to retire from competition - but stay lean and strong without the body cost. I was going to extract elite-level results from less time, less volume, and smarter intensity.
The training world told me it was impossible. "You can't stay sub 10% body fat, injury free, and perform well without steroids or living in the gym."
They were wrong.
