Pancake Challenge

Coach Note: The importance of frequency.

The more frequently you expose the central nervous system to the stretching stimulus (See Day 9), the quicker your central nervous system will adapt to these positions.

Frequency is commonly understood as a necessary component for skill acquisition. Have you ever tried to learn how to juggle? Well juggling once a month was probably NOT the way you learned. Spending a few minutes EVERY DAY juggling or stretching forces the central nervous system to make quick changes in order to adapt. Stretching, just like juggling, is a skill that needs to be trained frequently in order to master.

Short on time:

Standing Pancake Hinge x 10
Butt Elevated Pancake (Straight Back) x 2-3 min
