Pancake Challenge

Coach Note: Deliberate stretching. Being more mindful of the areas you are stretching and more precise about the positions of your body during the pancake stretch will yield better results.

 

As I have mentioned before, changes to flexibility occur primarily through the central nervous system. SO if you are using your brain during these stretches to be more mindful, deliberate, precise about how you stretch you are likely going to see quicker changes and adaptations to your flexibility. You wouldn't scroll through Instagram while trying to learn how to snatch, right? Try not to scroll while learning the pancake and speed up those mobility gains.

Short on Time:
Standing Pancake x 1 min
Floor Pancake x 2-3 min
