Pancake Challenge

Coach Note: The pancake stretch is the foundation for many gymnastics skills. The press handstand, L sit or V sit, and the extreme manna all require incredible hamstring length and the ability to fold oneself into a compressed tuck position. If you would like to pursue gymnastics skills in the future, the pancake stretch is a great foundational movement.

Short on time: Standing Pancake x 1 min
Floor Pancake (Optional Butt Elevated) x 2-3 min
