Pancake Challenge

Coach Note: Downregulation. In our go, go, go society, it is hard to find time to slow down and take deep breaths. Stretching can be a great opportunity to down regulate the central nervous system.

 

2-3 minutes can seem like an eternity if all your work stress is rushing through your head, but 2-3 minutes can fly by if you are focusing on one breath at a time. Try to focus on the sensations you are experiencing in your body and your breath. A controlled inhale and then a long exhale as you sink deeper into the stretch position. Improving your physical and mental well being with one practice. Stretching for the win!

Short on Time:
3 Way Pancake Stretch x 1 min L, 1 min R, 1 min Center
Weighted Pancake Stretch x 2
